Dr. Erin Van Oss is a licensed psychologist with expertise in counseling and educational psychology. She supports adults, children, families, and organizations by providing research-based psychological services. Dr. Van Oss received her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds the following professional licenses in Wisconsin: Licensed Psychologist and Private Practice School Psychologist. Dr. Van Oss is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is also credentialed in the states of Maine and Texas, and delivers remote psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation services. Trinity Psychology and Wellness is fully insured.
Dr. Van Oss has worked in a variety of settings including: private psychology practice, clinics, preschool and autism assessment centers, schools, and university settings. Her clinical approach is a blend of social, cognitive, and behavioral psychological theories. Dr. Van Oss uses a collaborative approach with clients to promote well-being of the mind, body, and spirit by using evidence-based practices in her assessments and interventions. She focuses on identifying and developing character strengths, building confidence, and utilizing coping skills to overcome difficulties.
